It looks like Amazon Prime Day 2024 will return to its summer programming, after last year’s delay to October due to the global pandemic. Amazon has now asked its sellers for information on the discounts they wish to put forward for the sales event, with deadlines of April and May suggesting that Amazon Prime Day deals will return to June or July in 2021.
Amazon Prime Day deals seem to get bigger and better. Last year’s offerings saw a 45.2% increase in global sales compared to 2019. A record-breaking $10.4 billion-worth of goods were bought at Amazon during the two-day sale, according to Digital Commerce 360 data – and we fully expect the retailer to go all-out again for Amazon Prime Day 2021 as it attempts another record-breaking year of sales.
